  22.    International News E-Wire Service (INEWS) is an English
  23. language daily, covering news of the world.  INEWS provides
  24. up-to-date and accurate world news.  It also includes many
  25. features and interviews covering such topics as current events,
  26. politics, economics, science, medicine, history, technology,
  27. agriculture, religion, and music.

  29.    Low cost republication rights are available allowing articles
  30. to be used on BBSs, in newsletters, advertising, LANs, weeklies,
  31. community newspapers, school newspapers, brochures, media kits,
  32. presentations, church bulletins, and more.

  34.    Every day, INEWS gathers reports filed by correspondents
  35. stationed at 26 news bureaus throughout the world.  INEWS relates
  36. first-hand coverage of stories from news bureaus in Abidjan,
  37. Bangkok, Beijing, Berlin, Bonn, Cairo, Chicago, Geneva, Hong
  38. Kong, Islamabad, Jerusalem, Johannesburg, London, Los Angeles,
  39. Miami, Moscow, Nairobi, New Delhi, New York, Paris, Prague, Rio
  40. de Janeiro, San Jose, Tokyo, Vienna, and Washington, D.C.

  42.    Daily INEWS service is available for less than $4.00 a month.

  44.    Delivered through E-mail in one of two versions, plain text or
  45. a DOS/VGA version.  The DOS/VGA version is sent either through
  46. E-mail, encoded, or through file transfer on America Online. If
  47. used for reproduction it must be sent in plain text form.  The
  48. encoded version is not available through FIDO Net. The size of
  49. the files makes mailing to CompuServe users, who are on the
  50. standard pricing plan, cost prohibitive to those CompuServe
  51. users. CompuServe members on the alternative pricing plan do not
  52. pay to receive Internet mail, other than connect charges.

  54.    What is an encoded file?  Most electronic mail systems can't
  55. handle binary files.  Binary files are word processor and
  56. spreadsheet data files, and files with a .EXE or .COM extension.
  57. is a file conversion standard.  It will change a binary
  58. file into an ASCII file, that can be sent through E-mail.  Once
  59. you receive the encoded file(s) through E-mail, you can decode it
  60. to return the file back to its binary form.

  62.    UUXFER20 is the program we recommend for decoding INEWS 
  63. encoded files.  UUXFER20 is shareware, if you continue to use it 
  64. after the 30-day trial period you must register it with its 
  65. author.  Public domain and freeware UUENCODE encoding/decoding

  68.    INEWS Daily can be mailed to almost any E-mail address on:
  69. Internet, AppleLink, America Online, AT&T Mail, AT&T EasyLink,
  70. BITNET, CompuServe, Delphi, FIDO Net, GEnie, MCI Mail,
  71. SprintMail, and many local BBS services.

  85. America Online account can receive a free America Online sign up

  87. reproduction the plain text version must be sent.
